Marc F. Lovecchio
Marc was born on August 28, 1958 in Philadelphia, PA. Interestingly, he spent three years living in Bermuda but spent most of his youth in the Pocono Mountains. He graduated first in his high school class and then attended Princeton University where he graduated in 1980 with a Bachelor of Arts in History. He graduated Cum Laude from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law with a Juris Doctorate in 1984. He served as the Topic's and Managing Editor for the school's Law Review.

Marc has vast experience in both State and Federal Courts as well as before numerous Local, State and Federal Administrative Agencies. Marc has been appointed by the Courts in varied capacities. Marc has served as a Court appointed guardian for children, Court appointed administrator for estates, and Court appointed counsel in significant criminal matters including homicides. Marc is also a trained and certified Federal Mediator and has mediated both State and Federal cases by agreement of the parties or by court appointment throughout northcentral Pennsylvania.

Marc handles cases in virtually every area of the law. He has experience in difficult and unusual labor and employment law matters including representation of Federal employees in adverse actions (Merit Systems Protection Board), representation of State employees in removals and suspensions (State Civil Service Board); representation of professionals in licensing matters (State Boards of Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy, etc.); representation of law enforcement in internal investigations;  representation of public employees in Whistleblower actions;  contract matters in all types of employment including pre- employment contracts, non-competes, non-disclosure, professional contracts, and  severance agreements; wrongful discharge; workers' compensation; unemployment compensation; Wage, Payment and Collection matters; collective bargaining; OSHA matters; Family and Medical Leave Act; unfair labor practices; labor arbitrations; labor mediations; sexual harassment and hostile work environments; and all types of  unlawful discrimination.

Marc also has extensive experience in criminal defense matters and has handled hundreds of significant criminal cases including homicides, robberies, drug offenses, burglaries, assaults, rapes, and DUI's. Marc presently serves on the Federal C.J.A. Panel where he is referred significant Federal criminal cases. Marc has represented  clients in numerous counties throughout Pennsylvania as well as before numerous Federal tribunals including the Third Circuit Court of Appeals in Philadelphia and the United States Supreme Court. Marc served on the steering committee for Lycoming County's Drug Court (one of the State's first) and is a standing treatment team member of Lycoming County's Juvenile Drug Court.

Marc has also extensive experience in general civil litigation matters including personal injury, contract disputes, slip and falls, auto accidents, landlord-tenant disputes, property damage cases, Wills and Estates,  construction disputes, commercial litigation, defamation (libel and slander); civil rights actions (~1983); invasions of privacy; intentional tort, and insurance coverage cases.

Marc is married to Angela Lovecchio and they are the parents of three children. Marc is very active in the local community and has served on numerous Boards including Susquehanna Legal Services, the YMCA (past president), the Center for Independent Living and C.A.P.P.A., Inc. Marc has handled cases for numerous non-profit organizations on either a pro bono or reduced fee basis. Marc is very active in the local soccer community and has coached at all levels from youth to college. He was the Bishop Neumann High School head boy's soccer coach for 12 years. Since 2001, he has served as the Williamsport High School head girl's coach. Marc is the Director of Coaching for the Balls Mills Soccer Club which to date fields10 teams in varied age divisions. Marc also enjoys triathlons and has to date, participated in over 85 throughout the eastern United States.
