Angela C. Lovecchio
Angela was born on January 9, 1960 in Williamsport, PA. She attended Williamsport High School where she graduated in 1977 in the top 10% of her class. She attended Boston University and graduated, Cum Laude, with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English in 1981. She attended the University of Pittsburgh, School of Law and graduated with a Juris Doctorate in 1984. Angela clerked for Judge Walko out of Beaver County, PA and was subsequently employed through the Allegheny County Public Defender's office as an Assistant Public Defender where she gained vast criminal defense experience. |
She returned to her hometown of Williamsport in 1987 and began working as a Public Defender representing indigent clients in Lycoming County. She has handled numerous criminal defense cases.
Angela eventually began working with Marc, Peter and her father. Over the years she has developed a varied civil practice with a concentration on real estate law.
She handles all aspects of real estate law including Sales Agreements, Leases, title work, closings, Financial Agreements and disclosure matters. With her litigation experience, she has represented numerous clients in connection with real estate litigation including contract disputes, property disputes, and landlord/tenant matters.
Angela has also developed an education law practice. She recently advanced her education by obtaining a State Board of Education Secondary Teaching Certificate. She is qualified to teach in the State’s public middle and high schools and has in fact taught high school English as both a student teacher and a substitute teacher. She has attended numerous seminars on education matters including The No Child Left Behind Law, and Children with Disabilities.
Angela is an active mother who is very involved in the educational community and with three different schools. She has handled pro bono cases for Susquehanna Legal Services and previously served on the Board at the Williamsport Home, and the City of Williamsport's Recreation Board.
She is presently a member of the board of C.A.P.P.A., Community Alliance
for Progressive Positive Action.
